A fabulously gentle yoga practice where the emphasis is on relaxing the body and stimulating the parasympathetic system, leading to a significant reduction in muscular tension and stress. Postures are performed and supported using props – blocks, straps, bolsters (yoga cushions) – that support the body and its joints. Postures are held in comfort for 5 to 8 minutes. This approach enables complete relaxation, calming mental activity and soothing the nervous system. A 15-minute guided meditation always concludes this practice.
